How it checks

Byes come from the real schedule
We read each team's bye week from ESPN's live NFL schedule. There's no typed-up bye table to go stale! If the schedule won't load, we say so. We never call your weeks clear without reading them.
Short means a slot nobody can fill
Two players on bye isn't a problem if your bench covers them. So we try every way of filling your lineup that week, flex included. A week only counts as short when a slot stays empty no matter who you move. We'd so much rather stay quiet than cry wolf!
It counts what your league starts
Pick your platform's lineup. A kicker on bye really hurts in a league that starts one, and costs nothing in a league that doesn't!
Some players never count as cover
A player on injured reserve or suspended can't fill any week. Someone ruled out just this week still counts later on, because they'll likely be back.
Why check now
A bye is a guaranteed zero, and it's really the easiest loss in fantasy to avoid. Spot it three or four weeks out and the waiver wire still has great bodies on it! For this week's lineup, our start or sit checker ranks your whole roster.
